NARUMI has received the top award in the Sustainability category at the Tableware International Awards of Excellence 2026, one of the most respected international awards in the tableware industry.
Organized by Tableware International, a leading trade publication for the global tableware industry, the awards recognize excellence in areas such as design, innovation, craftsmanship, and storytelling. Entries are evaluated by an international panel of industry experts and buyers.
NARUMI received the award for its initiative to develop a new material incorporating recycled eggshells. The project was selected as a finalist in the Sustainability category and was ultimately chosen as the category winner following the final round of judging.
The judges recognized the initiative for turning environmental considerations into a practical material development project and presenting a tangible example of sustainability within the tableware industry.
